Keep On Running

Runner Bean From Marigold Alliance Garden

The Marigold Alliance Garden was designed and planted by Stephen Laws & Paul Conneally.

A raised bed it contains both ornamental and food plants.

It is an example of how health and effiency, food and beauty, can come together in a small plot that many households could replicate as at least a statement around sustainability issues and when the growing's good a real source of additional food and beauty.

Laws & Conneally layered other meanings onto the garden around social issues such as the increased acceptance of Gentlemens Clubs and Lap Dancing establishments in streets while at the same time moral panic ensues around cross-generational community exchange through overly enforced child protection policies and the like in the name of increased safety.
