'Christo & Duchamp' - Paul Conneally and Gavin Wade 2012
Christo and Duchamp - Paul Conneally 2012
"four generations
deciphering a urinal"
Paul Conneally appropriates the urinals at the ferry port at Calais as a sculpture of the French artists Christo and Marcel Duchamp. Later artist curator Gavin Wade unknowingly upcyles the work in a verse written as part of a Twenga (a renga like poem written via Twitter) with Conneally.

Nothingness and Gold
Famous for his 'blue'
Klein begins using gold leaf
He gets the gold for the gold leaf by
selling empty spaces as works of art
The purchasers buy
nothingness with gold
In return they get
a signed certificate of ownership
Klein meets buyers
by the River Seine
But only those prepared
to burn their certificate
They burn brightly and Klein
throws half the gold into the Seine
With the rest of the gold
he makes gold leaf
